Chief Finance and Information Officer


Corey's experience, systems knowledge and financial acumen, gained working on-campus and in central finance roles with university joint ventures, brings a competitive edge in establishing cost-effective and sustainable programs of study. 

He has led financial onboarding of new partnerships, enterprise resource planning system (ERP) implementations and external audits and has been involved in business development and product operational design.  Working with a wide range of different university partners has given him strategic insights into a variety of university operational models and a collaborative approach to delivering outstanding results.

Prior to his career with global education providers Kaplan and INTO University Partnerships he competed professionally as a quarterback in the National Football League and the NFL Europe League for the New England Patriots and the Amsterdam Admirals. 

Corey has an MBA from Oregon State University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Wyoming.

Brian's expertise in sector analysis, strategy and risk management have been developed in international higher education and utilities.  While working in business development for INTO University Partnerships, Kaplan International and Cygnini, he has devised program and financial models alongside competitive positioning for international-student programs at two dozen universities.

His experience brings particular rigor to planning and implementation alongside a powerful combination of discipline and candor in helping partners make informed choices.  He also has substantial experience in working with prospective and new university partners on developing clear, structured and mutually beneficial operational agreements and structures to provide a sustainable basis for partnership.

Brian is a graduate in finance from Utah Valley University who worked as a senior risk analyst at AP Gas and Electric before joining the education sector in 2012.
